RamaDBK president receives decoration from Nalanda College in Colombo
Mr Jagath Ramanayake, CEO of RamaDBK company, has graduated 27 years ago from the prestigious Nalanda College in Colombo, a leading highschool in Sri Lanka. Since then, he has kept a strong relation with his alma mater and he has contributed many times to the school over the years. After entering the vehicle export business in Japan, he has donated several Japanese buses to the school.
On October 25th, Nalanda College has remitted an award to Mr Ramanayake to thank him for his support and his donations to the school. He has received the award from the hands of the principal of the College, Mr Ranjith Jayasundara.
Wishwa Keerthi Deshabandu

Jagath Ramanayake received one of the most prestigious awards in the country for his social services to Sri Lanka and its community.
This award is called "Wishwa Keerthi Deshabandu" and only given to high achieving people who have contributed and served their country and society in an incomparable way. The achiever receives the award during a ceremony held at the "Temple of Sacred Tooth of Buddha" or the Sri Dalada Maligawa, and the award is presented by the "Mahanayake Thera" who is the spiritual leader of all Sri Lankan Buddhist organizations.
It was a great achievement for him to receive this award at his age while most of the other recipients receive it after their 50s. This is one of the strongest achievements in his career.
We congratulate our President on this great achievement, and we wish him all the best for the future with many more awards to come, and that he continues to serve not only his home country Sri Lanka but also the global community.
